This short course gives you an introduction into the practicalities of social media for small businesses, introducing you to the main forms such as blogging for business, Facebook and Twitter, Google+, Linkedin, YouTube, and Instagram to help you identify the right ones for you, as well as outlining the pitfalls and tools to help you.
This is an introductory course but assumes a decent working knowledge of using computers, file management and the internet.
The course will cover:
Choose and use tools that will connect you with your customers | Plan a social media strategy to deliver the maximum results for your business | Use tools efficiently – how to post simultaneously across multiple platforms | Integrate social media with your marketing mix | Measure what works
Participants should be able to use a keyboard, a mouse and access the internet, files and folders.
